I forget to set the APN at home, so had to guestimate it while wandering about outside in the big scary world. I just put in orangeinternet as the APN and nothing else, and had lovely 3G since. Really lucky that Android Bloke had to do the same. I really am still mostly clueless when it comes to all this, but I got there in the end!
