Rather than having to move all the web directories to /users/home/blah, when you create your users, you can specify that their home directory is /var/www/somesite/ by using the -d flag with useradd: useradd somesiteftpuser -d /var/www/somesite&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;HTH and good luck!</description>
