Just popped over to Reddit, the popular social bookmarking site, and it is down! In this day super strong and reliable servers it is easy to forget that sometimes they just get too busy or a connection fails for some reason or another.
“Amazon is currently having an issues with their storage network. Please stand by. Reddit is down. It was probably an accident. Please try to maintain you composure.” – The Reddit error page.
They also provide an amusing YouTube video to watch while waiting for the server to sort itself out. I like this feature, it keeps us amused and provides a way to pass a few minutes before hitting F5.
