My phone has been quiet for a while, but I must have put my number in the wrong place recently, as today I have had 3 calls from bots telling me that there is some sort of National Insurance fraud on my account, and I need to press 1 immediately to resolve this.
A bit of Googling suggested that they then ask for confirmation, which strangely enough requires you to share your banking details!
As well as the calls in the title, just had a dead call from 07943 856674, which could be innocent, but number is very similar.
If you get an bot calls like this, always err on the side of caution, and hang up.
